The State Museum of Russian Political History Tour

The State Museum of Russian Political History was founded in 1919 and today houses in the former mansion of Matilda Kshesinskaya, prime-ballerina of the Mariinsky Theater. The Museum stocks are accounted about 500.000 units. For a long time it was a museum of the Great October Socialist Revolution; today this is the only museum in St. Petersburg, reflecting the state political history at the turning-points of the 19-20th centuries social development.
