Kremlin and Cathedrals Tour in Moscow

One of the oldest sights of Moscow, the Kremlin is also the official residence of the Russian president. It is located on the Kremlin Hill (former Borovitsky Hill) on the left sight of Moscow river. The central square of the Kremlin is called the Cathedral Square and it is surrounded with Cathedral of the Archangel, Cathedral of the Dormition, Cathedral of the Annunciation, the Church of the Deposition of the Robe, the Church of the Twelve Apostles and The Great Ivan's Bell Tower. The Palace of Facets is located nearby. Many important events took place on the Cathedral Square. The Assumption Cathedral was the main cathedral of the Moscow mother country. Traditionally wedding ceremonies were held there. In the Cathedral of the Dormition the coronation ceremonies of Russian Tsars took place. The Cathedral of the Archangel is known as a place where they were buried. The Cathedral Square is still used as a place where the inauguration ceremony of the Russian president.
